Straight talk
Automation finds part of the problem. We say so.
No tool can prove that a website is fully accessible. Software detects a portion of WCAG issues, and the rest needs a person. AccessibilityBrief is built around that.
- No overlays, no injected scripts
We read your public pages. Nothing is added to your site, and nothing about it changes.
- A manual checklist in every report
Keyboard use, screen readers, captions, alt text quality: the checks software cannot do, with how to test each.
- A polite crawler you can turn off
It follows robots.txt, identifies itself and limits requests. Site owners can opt out at any time.
- Drafts, not legal claims
The statement generator produces a draft with a disclaimer. You and your adviser decide what it says.

Pricing questions
What counts as a manual scan?
Each time you start a scan yourself. Scheduled rescans are separate and do not use your monthly allowance.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, from the billing page at any time. Changes are prorated by our payment provider, and if you downgrade, sites above the new limit become read-only rather than being deleted.
What does the one-time audit include?
One site, up to 300 pages, with every fix, prompt, export, share link and the statement draft, and your history kept for 12 months. It does not include monitoring.
Why is there a page limit on unverified sites?
To stop the tool being used to hammer sites that are not yours. Verify ownership with a meta tag, a file or a DNS record to unlock your plan's full limit.
Can I get a refund?
If a one-time audit did not work for you, contact us. Refunds are handled through our payment provider.
Automated testing detects only a portion of WCAG issues. Manual testing is required to assess full conformance.
Questions, answered
Does AccessibilityBrief make my site accessible?
No. It finds problems and tells you exactly how to fix them. You or your developer make the changes. We never add a script or widget to your site.
Can automated testing prove my site meets WCAG?
No. Automated tools detect only a portion of WCAG issues. Every report includes a manual checklist for the rest. AccessibilityBrief makes no legal or conformance claims about your site.
What does the free scan cover?
One page, with problems grouped and explained. The exact fixes, code, prompts and exports come with a full audit or a subscription.
Will the scan break or slow down my site?
No. It loads pages like a visitor, follows robots.txt and limits concurrent requests. Public pages only, unless you set up a login yourself.
Which platforms are supported?
Any website. We detect WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, Next.js and AI site builders and show steps for that tool.
Is my data safe?
Share links are private and revocable, secrets are encrypted, and scans of pages behind a login keep no screenshots. See the privacy page for details.
